Merry Christmas!!!! Dec. Club Q Redo!

This is such a beautiful time of the year!!  Dec. Club Q papers, Very Merry Christmas are just as beautiful!    I sent this Club Q Redo as a gift to the talented and oh so sweet Patsy, (owner and creator extrodinaire of Quick Quotes!  It should have arrived already, so the surprise is not ruined!).  I hope you enjoy it as well!!

In person Patsy's Tree stands a foot and a half tall and is made of approx 100 flowers.  The Very Merry Christmas papers from Dec. Club Q made lovely flowers.  Isn't it amazing how, if you look at them in new ways, things are so versatile!

                                                               I LOVE Quick Quotes!!!

Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas and a Joyful and Prosperous New Year!

Thanks for joining me!  Hope to see you more in the New Year!

If at first you totally bomb, try, try again! Finally......Nov. Quick Quotes Club Q Bonus Project!

And you might get a pleasant surprise!!

Ok, I admit it, I had a totally different project in mind when I first saw Novembers gorgous papers in the Club Q kit! This new paper collection, Copper Kettle, was instantly my new fav! I was so excited, I had an idea months ago and have been waiting for just that perfect paper, and this was it! Well, I got everything out and got started !

Sadly, it did not turn out as planned. You could say that I had a fight with Modge Podge. And Modge Podge won. So, while I shelved that project for the time being, I looked at the paper I had left and was inspired with another project!

I hope you like them as much as I do!

I love Christmas time and really enjoy putting special tags on my gifts!  This one is one of my favorites:

You can see my two other favorites, one is on the Quick Quotes Gallery and my other favorite is on Two Peas Gallery (both can be found by searching Quick Quotes, Club Q, or Jean Buhl)

I really do love how these came out!  Please let me know what you think!

Club Q this month arrived (finally!  It got lost since we moved!) and held some beautiful papers from Teresaa Collins!   I am still working on a halloween banner, but I do  have one project done!  I love how this came out!!

I used the classic black and white color combination and the theme, of course, love

Presenting.... You are my all.....my everything

What a great way to display six of your favorite photos of your love!  (if I do say so myself!)  All of the photo locations have slots to add the photos, and the entire thing has a light spray of Radiant Rain Pearl with gold.

Here's a close up look:

Can't wait to get invited to a wedding, so I can give this as a gift!

Also!  This last weekend I taught at a great scrapbook retreat by Scraps Galore!  I will post again soon and fill you in!  It was a BLAST!

Quick Quotes Club Q September Bonus Projects!

Wow!  This year is just flying by!  Can't believe it is already September!  Lots of exciting stuff happening here!  Our family recently grew....my Mom came to live with us!  (what were you thinking?!!)  Our house suddenly seemed much smaller.  So we searched and finally found a house that had four bedrooms and seemed "just right".  It is actually just up the road from our old house!  My best bud from Michigan came out and saved me, as usual!  Amy flew out and helped move us.  Wasn't that awesome!?!  We aren't quite done, and wow, will we ever be unpacked?  But so far I think it is going to be great!  I am attempting to "purge", clense, sort, simplify...whatever you want to call it!    Let me tell you, if you are considering moving.....Don't do it!  It's a thankless job!  And moving a short distance isn't any easier!  (can I get an Amen Judy, Amy and Tiffany?)

Thank goodness I got to do something creative right in the middle of everything!  I got my favorite box with all my Quick Quotes goodies!!

Using this months Club Q kit, and the beautiful Cherry Truffle papers, I decided to make a dedication board for a friend we recently lost in a car crash.  I used a large canvas, 24 x 36 inches, coloring the sides of the canvas with our powder puff inks, to match the papers.  The papers and embelishments this month worked perfectly for this application, with the rich, warm colors.  I also inked the frames amd added "manly bows", (or knots!)

I love the decorated transparancy sheets and die cuts!  I also thought the ribbon roses were "da bomb"!  I gathered them, and used them as rosette pieces.

I thought it came out very manly!  It will be displayed at the funeral and services, then will look beautiful hanging on a wall.    I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by!

Talk to you soon!

I wanted to share with you a peek at the laminate purses I made for Patsy and Janet, when they came for the Mini Private Reserve ( did I mention it was in Farmington!  And we had a great time!!  haha!  ).

Recognize the quote?  Yep!  It's one of Patsy's!!

Have a great day!  Can't believe school starts right around the corner!!

QQ Club Q Redo August - Bonus Projects!

So.....who's up for a little Christmas Spirit?  The minute I saw this months new paper, Cherry Truffle,  and what Stacy had done with it, I fell in love!  Then I turned it over to the flip side and I was suddenly in the Christmas spirit!    So I jumped right in!!

Actual  size is two and a half feet wide and about a foot and a half high!

I cut the letters out of foam core board, using a craft knife.  Then covered them with this awesome paper!  Here's a peek at each set......

I highlighted the H with Glossy Accents, added a ribbon and branch.  The O is highlighted randomly with Glossy Accents, gold Stickles and tulle behind the pinecone.

Glossy Accents highlight this H also, with the paper trims in my Club kit, I added a three clear buttons, the O is accented with paper trim, tulle and a berry spray.

This H is accented with pearl paint, tulle and ribbon.  The O is randomly dotted with Glossy Accents, paper trim, gold Stickles and tulle behind the pinecone.

Of course, my dear hubby thinks thinks I'm nuts for hanging this in the house in August!  But it makes me smile!

Thanks for joining me!

Take a few minutes to enjoy something beautiful today!
