Quick Quotes Rocks!

Hey!  Isn't it great to see the sun shine and it actually be warm outside!  (For those of you who don't live here, New Mexico is very tricky.  Most of the time, the sun is shining beautifully....so you can imagine the chaos your brain feels, when you walk out the door and it's 34 degrees!    It's kind of like brain freeze!  (Can you believe I actually think that's funny!)  But then once in a while it will catch you......you head out in your jacket and by the time you get to the car you have sweat rolling down your face!)  Look at that, just like my Mom always said, another reason to watch the news every day!

Ok, I must be finally getting into this blog thing, I just wrote an entire paragraph, inspired by one sentence about warm weather.  Is that sad?  Bear with me, I am kind of feeling like a radio deejay, just rambling to myself in an empty room....if you sing in a blog, can anyone hear you?   ( welcome to my brain!)

Believe it or not, I do have some real blogging to do!   So let's get started!

Quick Quotes at Creating Keepsakes Convention in Mesa Az!

Wow what a blast!  I headed over to Mesa with my fun friends from Farmington (thanks for a great time Elaine, Dixie and Terri!), who went WAY out of their way to pick me up! ( Thanks again!)  When we got to Mesa we visited The Container Store and ran thru (literally!) IKEA.

Then the real fun started!  Quick Quotes had the best booth there!  I was lucky enough to work with Patsy (owner of Quick Quotes!), her daughter Sunny and Barbie at the Quick Quotes Booth!!   I got to run the make and take table, where we made the CUTEST flip flop album (real flip flops and all!)  Just like all Quick Quotes stuff, they went together fast, and were really adorable!  I loved being able to work with all the visitors who came by the booth!  (Patsy also made sure I had some free time to shop...thanks Patsy, I had a great time!)   I also got to give away the GRAND PRIZE!  Terry Donahue from AZ won a bag of Quick Quotes Goodies worth of $100!  (Terry wore her Quick Quotes T-shirt to the convention!)

(that's me on the right, Terry on the left!)

Patsy taught some awesome Quick Quotes classes!  If you ever get a chance to go to a convention where they are.....drive as far as it takes, trust me!

As a matter of fact, if you are looking for a retreat....Quick Quotes offers one of the very best!  Quick Quotes Private Reserve is TOTALLY AMAZING!  I won't go into detail here, you can get the full scoop here... http://www.shopquickquotes.com/ !  (don't forget to come back!  I still have more rambling, as well as some cool stuff!)

Now on to  some cool stuff!  May Club Q Bonus Projects!  (Can I just say.....I love my job! I am soooo lucky!)

This month I had a blast with the kit!  It made me feel like summer was here!  My first project was a purse, check it out!
This is the front.......

I made the ribbon handles hook in with a bosher, a metal swirl and one of the beautiful pearl brads!

this is the back.  Can you see the vine wrapped around the ribbon handle?  Love it!

The envelopes in the Club Q kit inspired me to make an Envelope Mini Album!  I used six by six envelopes and with tags in each envelope, this baby will hold TONS of photos!

What do you think?  Does it make you think of summer? (and ice cream and a slip and slide!  Oh there I go, showing my age!)  I was really delighted with how it came out!  And the amount of photos it can hold!  Whew!

Eyes tired yet?  I guess you can tell I'm a new blogger, since I don't post often, but then I post long!  So, I am going to sign off, with a promise to blog again soon with pictures of a project I made for National Scrapbook Day!  I will be joining my friends in FARMINGTON, with their store...HEART TO HEART....and their fun celebration!  So tune in again soon!

Also!  Quick Quotes if starting a blog soon!  I will keep you posted!  We have some very talented designers on our new design team, so keep your eyes peeled!  (don't worry, I won't let you miss it!!)
